2015

AZIONE PITTORICA CORALE Site Specific ideata e curata da Giuseppe Stagnitta, patrocinata dal Comune di Catania e dall’Autorità Portuale di Catania, di Street Artist di fama internazionale, che hanno TRASFORMATO il gruppo dei Silos del Porto di Catania in un vero e proprio MONUMENTO DEL XXI SECOLO.

Il progetto mira ad incrementare lo sviluppo economico della Città, richiamando un maggior flusso di turisti attraverso la visibilità dell’evento unico nel suo genere, utilizzando un’iconografia contemporanea come frutto di una riflessione tematica sull’Identità della Città di Catania.

Gli otto silos che si rivolgono al mare sono stati realizzati dal famosissimo street artist portoghese Vhils. Opera prodotta dalla Fondazione Terzo Pilastro – Mediterraneo.

SILOS CATANIA
2015

CORAL PICTURE ACTION Site Specific edited by Giuseppe Stagnitta , sponsored by the City of Catania and the Port Authority of Catania, of internationally renowned Street Artist, who have TRANSFORMED the group of Silos of the Port of Catania into a real MONUMENT OF THE XXI CENTURY.

The project aims to increase the economic development of the city, attracting a greater flow of tourists through the visibility of the unique event, using a contemporary iconography as the result of a thematic reflection on the identity of the City of Catania.

The eight silos that overlook the sea were made by the famous Portuguese street artists Vhils. Work produced by the Fondazione Terzo Pilastro – Mediterraneo.

The eight silos that overlook the city were realized through a PICTURE PAINTING ACTION by OKUDA + BUCCHI + MICROBO + BO130 + ROSH333 + INTERESNI KAZKI + LUCAMALEONTE + VHILS + VLADY ART.
